AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!noooooooooooooooooooooo!!! it's sweatshirt season again!! I don't want it to be cold yet. months and months of nothing but bitter cold! go away. I want warmth again!! arrgh. I'm moving to LA, or Mali, or the Bahamas. somewhere where it's never cold.
actually, this whole sweatshirt thing is making me reminisce a little about when I moved up here. It seems like ages ago, although I guess it can't be more than a year since this is my first experience of returning to hell.* I've only yet experienced the escape from hell in new york. It's kind of hard to believe, (at least from my point of view) all the things I've done since I've arrived. Here's a brief overview:
? ditched my crutches. whoo hoo!
? worked on half a dozen features as an electrician
? moved to manhattan
? played host to many friends and a few bugs
? gaffed 2 features and over a dozen shorts
? met all kinds of crazy new people
? went to trapeze school
? discovered the 2 good coffee shops in the 5 boroughs
? fell in love**
? traveled to a dozens of new places
? washed my clothes
speaking of which! they're done and I have to stick in a new load. ahhh, those were the days
may be heading down to baltimore tomorrow after an equipment check-out!
